For me, setting up the perfect situation when posting my art or sharing my art with others is essential. What I mean is, the environment I’m surrounded with highly effects how my final piece of art turns out. For example, last night I brought my laptop home and worked from my dining room table instead of working at my studio. I also kept my Facebook page open so I could randomly chat with friends. Chatting with my friend Kris (who is taking his Vision Quest in Australia right now…) I was introduced to some new music from one of my favorite local bands, Born In the Flood. Their new demo “Breaks Your Heart” was blaring from their myspace page while I worked on Cori & Julia’s blog posts…I’m curious to see if there is any discernable difference in the “mood” of the pictures depending on my environment. Anyways, if you want to FEEL some music, check out Born In the Flood. They’re actually playing at the Hi-Dive tonight (just about 2 blocks away from my studio!)
Maybe I’ll see you there![]()

::I didn’t take this photo of the band. I found it online and loved the cool lighting::
