This morning I started my Sunday bright and early. I hit the road to visit Chico Basin Ranch. Tess & David are getting married here in late September – Tess’s family runs the Ranch on this beautiful and expansive spread of land.
I was treated to a tour while Tess & David described how each area will be set-up and decorated for their big day. I’m very excited to shoot their ceremony with the sun setting behind the gorgeous range of mountains.
They took me on an extra stop – the massive old cottonwood tree. Tess’s mom shared with me that they once fit 200 adults under the covering of this mature tree’s branches…if you were to personify this tree, it would be a calm, old wise man with a bright white beard & eyes that always smiled.
I’m so excited to share Tess & David’s day with them – can’t wait!!!
