Liz & Brian are Married!

I have no idea where to start with expressing how I feel about these amazing people…Liz & I go way back, I mean WAY back.  My Dad grew up in the small town of Cannon Falls, MN with Liz’s Mom Sue, Uncle Doug & Aunt Cak so naturally, as midwest small town standards go, we are all family!  I bet I first met Liz when she was just a few months old.

Liz moved from the east coast to Boulder a few years ago and when I received a Facebook message from her saying “I’m getting married!” I got so excited envisioning the great celebration that was about to happen.  I was honored to be able to capture the love shared between Liz & Brian AND I even got to be a guest!

We were at Planet Bluegrass and had truely classic early Autumn Colorado weather.So much love and so much laughter!And so begins the point when I swapped my “Wedding Photographer Hat” for my “Have a Couple Drinks, Shake my Booty and be a Guest Hat”I tried to trick myself into thinking I can handle being at a wedding without quenching my crazy desire to capture some of the fun moments happening…it’s near to impossible!  So I used my iPhone instead of my Nikon.And then I picked up my Nikon again…Meet Carly…a dear friend of Brian’s who makes my eyes grow big with her lucious images.  I was SO glad to shoot alongside this fun lady…she let me play with her new tilt-shift lense during the reception!Oh Hipstamatic, I love you.
