Meridith, Fiona and baby Harper brought over bagels and coffee last October so we could capture some portraits of the newest addition to their family.  Meridith is a super excited Mommy to sweet Harper and just officially found out that her adoption is finalized!

I snagged as much cuddletime as I could with Harper and all her cushy rolls of chubbiness…I can’t tell you how many times I had to set my camera aside just so I could giggle with her during our shoot.

I’m bubbling over with happiness for Mer, Fiona, Harper & Gary – congrats to your fabulous new family!  I feel so lucky that I get to continue watch you all grow!  xoxo

  • Grateful to have grown though my experience with each client
  • Grateful to cultivate creativity
  • Grateful to have my passion be such a large part of my life
  • Grateful to share art with others

This year she invited me to her home in Arvada for a fun shoot in the big park just past their backyard. 3 year old James gave me an awesome workout that morning while I chased him around and sweet little Charlie made me laugh until I cried by his new fascination with making fart noises with his mouth.

Once again we all had a great time running around and laughing.  Thank you Harper for brightening my day and keeping me on my toes during our shoot ;)

Dedra & I lived in Kittridge West together during our first year at CU Boulder together.  Joe also lived in our dorm but we never crossed paths…even with all our trips to the Hard Drive Cafe for free pop ;)

D & Joe met in their senior year and now have a beautiful life together.  They invited me to their sweet home to capture some portraits of baby-to-be during this amazing time of their lives.

It’s so exciting to think that in a few short weeks their family will grow by one.  I can’t wait to meet this little angel!

She’s here!  Theia has arrived!

Katelyn & Ben came over with their new sweet little bean last week so we could take 3 week old pictures. Katelyn & I have worked together for over 4 years now and this past year while Katelyn was pregnant was full of anticipation for Theia’s arrival. She was an absolute sweetheart during our shoot…I’m sure she felt comfortable at the studio since she spent so much time here when she was still in Katelyn’s belly ;)

Ella, Merrill, Reed & Dean arrived at the studio and I was immediately in love with these two little gentlemen.  It amazed me to see the identical boys in front of my camera – even though they resembled each other physically it was incredible to see the little differences in their personalities (already!).  I imagine Reed will be the studious, analytical twin where Dean will be the “don’t worry about it…let’s not work today, it’s too nice outside!” twin.  I can’t wait to watch these boys grow up and see this family continue to share love.
